Relief Fund has set up by Central Govt. to fight against COVID-19

PM Narendra Modi has established a public relief fund for the aid of Corona Virus victims and treatment procedures. Anyone can donate to this fund. Several organizations and important personalities of our country have already taken part in this program.

                         

51 Crore relief fund from BCCI

 BCCI has declared to donate 51 crore rupees in this fund. When the whole country is disrupted and disturbed under the deadly claws of Corona Virus, the Indian Cricket Control Board has taken this gesture. BCCI president Saurav Ganguly, Chief Jay Shah announces this fund after the BCCI board meeting.

Medical Relief fund from TATA

The great business giant TATA has declared to contribute 500 crore rupees for the medical relief fund. They will be supplying PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for medical personnel, respiratory systems for the virus affected patients, testing kits to increase per capita treatment and modular treatment facilities for infected patients. This wave taken by the TATA Trusts, TATA Sons and the TATA Groups are collaborated to fight against this pandemic.

Sports Personalities

The eminent sports personalities like Sachin Tendulkar has donated 50 lakh rupees including PV Sindhu 10 Lakh rupees Gautam Gambhir 50 lakh rupees. On the other hand, Hima Das has declared her one month and Bajrang Punia donates six months' salary for the relief fund of COVID-19.

 Medical Equipment is running out of stocks

WHO has declared that medical equipment and safety kits are on the verge of risk. Doctors and other medical staff are running out of medical goods throughout the world. In a press conference on Friday, WHO has proclaimed that if all kinds of safety dresses, doctor's masks, and other sanitizing elements are facing the world crisis then the situation is alarming. The disrupted delivery of these life-saving elements can kill thousands of people more. WHO exclaims that it has delivered 20 lakhs PPE or Personal Protective Elements which includes helmet, gloves, face shield, face mask or respirator, goggles, shoe cover and gown to countries for doctors and medical staffs. These are the mandatory elements for those who are into the process of coronavirus treatment. 78 countries now have this kit and more 7 countries will get the supply. But what will happen when all these safety things will end up? Are they really safe who are working for us without looking at their watch?
                                       

WHO has invited all the G-20{nineteen countries who comes under the G-20 group viz Brazil, South Africa, India, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Australia, Italy, Unites States, the United Kingdom, Canada, China, Germany, France, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia}countries to come forward and increase their production rate of PPE kits. Mutual compassion and international assistance can help us to pass through this rough road.

From 22nd March, Kolkata will be locked down for the next five days till 27th March. People are insecure about getting nominal resources for living. All shops, shopping malls, restaurants and pubs are being closed down due to Govt.regulations. Citizens are scared not only for the deadly virus but also for this lockdown mode.
