WHICH SECTORS ARE OPEN DURING KOLKATA LOCKDOWN

From 22nd March, Kolkata will be locked down for the next five days till 27th March. People are insecure about getting nominal resources for living. All shops, shopping malls, restaurants and pubs are being closed down due to Govt.regulations. Citizens are scared not only for the deadly virus but also for this lockdown mode. Do we really run out of primitive amenities for the next five days?

• Taxi, app cabs, auto, metro stations will be closed.
• All kinds of shops and commercial companies, workshops, godowns will be shut for these days.
• Citizens coming from foreign countries should be under home quarantine.

• Medical Sectors
• Water and Electricity boards
• Fire brigade, defense ministry, all kinds of emergency services
• Banks and ATM
• Telecom, IT Departments, Post Offices.
• Supply of groceries and milk will not be shunned
• Petrol pumps and gas stations
• Medical Stores
• Media and news agencies

Several areas are under silence

These steps are taken in order to prevent the deadly Corona Virus from spreading. All individual who denies doing so, the person will be charged with IPC 188 as a punishable offense. Indian Law will work according to Pandemic Act in India.
